Barnett Waddingham is becoming Howden
Our scheme administrator, Barnett Waddingham, is changing their name to Howden from September 2026. This means their administration services will join with Howden’s specialist expertise to strengthen the high-quality service they’re known for.
Over the coming months there will be some changes, including updates to the branding and the pension scheme documents you receive from them. You might have even seen ‘Part of Howden’ next to the Barnett Waddingham logo already. This is all part of the transition period.
You don’t need to do anything – the same trusted, personal service remains. After September any documents you’re used to receiving from Barnett Waddingham will come from Howden. If you’re currently receiving a pension, this won’t be affected and will continue to be paid to you in the same way.
Changes to your online Clarity from BW account
If you’re registered for online services, you’ll also notice some changes to your Clarity from BW account. You’ll still have access to Pension self-service and all its great features – the Clarity brand will just be refreshed to match their new identity.
